As a sponsor of this year’s Festival, Nashville Originals will showcase TWO Nashville Original member restaurants in an intimate tasting session, The Grand Taste—featuring different chefs and restaurants at The Green at Riverfront Park.

The Grand Tasting will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event gives guests an exclusive chance to taste a diverse range of signature bites prepared by the best of the city’s culinary community alongside more than 60 international and national wineries, spirits purveyors, breweries, restaurants and other artisanal exhibitors.

We’re excited to announce that Caffé Nonna will represent Originals on Saturday, and Americano will be featured on Sunday—each restaurant will offer a dessert centered around local ingredients that capture the essence of Nashville and its culinary identity.

Elliston Place Soda Shop and Americano won’t be the only Nashville Originals members representing at the Festival. Be sure to look for other members like Martin’s BBQ, Silly Goose, Peg Leg Porker, 55 South, Cork & Cow, Red Pony and Urban Grub.

See below for more information on other members’ events.

The festival will also include more than 40 demos and tasting sessions, more than 60 national and international wineries, breweries, restaurants and live entertainment.

Tickets to the festival start at $150 per day and include access to the Grand Tasting, demos and more. To purchase tickets and to see more information on the Music City Food & Wine Festival, visit the website here.

Martin’s BBQ & Friends:

On Saturday and Sunday, join Martin’s Bar-B-Que pitmaster Pat Martin as he hosts an unbeatable barbecue feast with a collection of chef buddies in Bicentennial Park. Everything will be cooked over live fire – whole lamb, whole Hog, whole goat, beef ribs, whole fish, coal-roasted root vegetables and much more. Items will be announced via social media and chalkboard.

Wild Game, Jason McConnell:

Jason McConnell (Red Pony, 55 South and Cork and Cow) joins Tim Love, Matt Bolus and Levon Wallace on Sunday from 12:30-1 p.m. for a segment on wild game.
