“We’ve seen a lot of traffic on the site already as a result of the job board,” says Tom Loventhal, president of Nashville Originals and an owner in the Noshville Delicatessens and Blue Moon Waterfront Grille at Rock Harbor Marina. “Our mission as an organization is to sustain the independent restaurant as an essential component of Nashville’s identity, and maintaining a quality staff is key to longevity in this industry.

“Most of the resources we’ve traditionally used to post open positions have gone to a fee model, so this is a real benefit to our members and the community.”

The 50-plus Nashville Originals member restaurants, located in Davidson and Williamson counties, are posting open positions regularly, and the site is updated as they are filled.

“We have listed several positions and made some great hires using this resource,” says JT Ward, general manager of Originals member Puckett’s Boat House in downtown Franklin. “We’re always looking to expand our team, and it’s a great way to advertise those openings. I’ve been impressed by the quality of applicants the site is bringing to us.”
