Nashville Restaurant Week Kicks Off Monday, January 18

Nashville Restaurant Week is returning to Music City January 18-24, inviting locals and visitors alike to enjoy special menus plus breakfast, lunch and dinner deals around town, all as a way to celebrate our city’s unique restaurants and give back to the diners that support them.

The nearly 60 participating restaurants are part of the Nashville Originals, Nashville’s independent restaurant association whose members are committed to sustaining Music City’s diverse dining culture through the belief that the individual creativity of local businesses has helped shape the city’s identity and propel Music City into the national culinary spotlight.

The biannual Nashville Restaurant Week allows participants to explore the best food that Nashville has to offer, along with deals that make dining at upscale member restaurants more affordable. Diners will have the opportunity not only to test an array of food genres, but also to support homegrown restaurants and get behind the movement to #EatLikeALocal.

“Nashville Restaurant Week has grown to be more than just a promotional week for our restaurants. It’s a chance for diners to truly experience all that Nashville’s culinary scene has to offer,” said Claire Crowell, president of the Nashville Originals and COO for A. Marshall Family Foods, Inc. “The chefs get as excited for the week as our customers because it gives them the opportunity to test potential new menu items, and to have fun in the kitchen and offer something creative and off the menu.”

Originals member restaurants reach from Germantown to Franklin and everything in between, and new members to Nashville Restaurant Week include Embers Ski Lodge and Love Peace & Pho. The organization is also made up of a variety of local eateries ranging from burger joints to white tablecloth establishments, so there is sure to be something for every taste bud and price point during the celebrated event.

For just $20.16 per person, Midtown mainstay The Row will be offering a two-course meal inspired by Southern comfort food and Nashville favorites. Their delectable entrees include chicken fried steak with smashed potatoes and onion straws smothered in country gravy; braised bourguignon pot roast with braised vegetables, snap beans and pan jus; or Nashville hot fish with a spicy corncake, house slaw and bacon mac & cheese.

Fenwick’s 300 will again offer hungry Nashvillians a great deal on dinner and dessert for two—choose any two of the modern diner’s entrees and two slices of pie for just $25.00.

55 South in the heart of Historic Downtown Franklin will offer a prix-fixe menu with three mouthwatering courses for $26.16 per person. Options include a classic gumbo or Caesar salad as an appetizer, hot chicken or fish tacos for the entree, and homemade coconut pie or a homemade buttermilk pie to finish it off.

Another Franklin favorite, Saffire in the Factory, is also offering a prix-fixe menu featuring three courses of the restaurant’s best hits, including Orleans parish pasta, Parmesan grit cakes and a local honey cheesecake for dessert.

Established in 2006 as the city’s non-profit independent restaurant association, the Nashville Originals are locally owned and loved culinary institutions dedicated to increasing the visibility and viability of local restaurants.
