It’s Back, Baby: Music City Food + Wine Festival

Tonight marks the start of one of the best weekends of the year & our foodie hearts are rejoicing! The MUSIC CITY FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL gets underway from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight, with its first-ever Friday start date, and continues from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Bicentennial Park.

For the third consecutive year, the Nashville Originals will be featuring three amazing Nashville Originals restaurants in the Grand Taste event!

First up, we’ll have Harvest at Homestead Manor joining us tonight to serve Katharos Farms sausage with mushroom and Gruyere tart.

Tomorrow, The Old School Farm to Table will represent the Originals from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. serving its version of a “PB&J” — potato bread with oxtail jam, pickled peanuts and radish. Closing out the Festival from 1:30 to 4 p.m. tomorrow, Salsa, Nashville’s first authentic Puerto Rican restaurant, will be dishing out arroz con pollo (Puerto Rican roast chicken + rice).

Guests will be treated to a diverse range of signature bites prepared by the best of the city’s culinary community, alongside more than 60 international and national wineries, spirits purveyors, breweries, restaurants and other artisanal exhibitors.

And those won’t be the only Nashville Originals members represented at the Festival! Keep your eyes peeled for Fleet Street Pub & 1808 Grille. In addition, talented chefs from member restaurants will be featured at the Chef Showcase, including CAREY BRINGLE of Peg Leg Porker and Tyler Saracino from Americano.  Join Martin’s Bar-B-Que pitmaster Pat Martin as he hosts Martin’s BBQ & Friends on both days of the Festival.

The festival will also include demos, tasting sessions and live entertainment. Please join us for what is sure to be an unforgettable weekend in food heaven!
