This year we were proud sponsors of the Music City Food & Wine Festival!
The September event proved to be a beautiful weekend of eating, drinking and talking to festival goers about the mission of the Nashville Originals. From delicious demos and fun panel discussions to the wide array of sips and samples in the Grand Taste, festival goers came from far and wide to sample the best of Nashville.
The festival showcased the city’s best local chefs, as well as wine, beer and spirits purveyors. Our member restaurants Americano—a freestyle tapas bar inspired by Mediterranean culture—and Caffé Nonna—an authentic Italian and a Nashville staple—represented the Originals at the Nashville Originals booth.
On Saturday, Chef Daniel of Caffe Nonna served an authentic panna cotta with regional peaches and pecans, and Jack Daniel’s caramel sauce. And when we didn’t think it could get any more delicious, Sunday was a whole new set of dishes. On Sunday, guests sampled Tennessee blackberry gazpacho, topped with creme fraiche from Americano.
